Dale Ischia

With over 20 years in private practice, Dale is one of the most experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologists currently operating in Melbourne. To further her exercise oncology experience, Dale completed further training in 2012 with the American College of Sports Medicine, completing their Cancer Exercise Trainer course and gained further experience at the Vancouver Prostate Centre and private exercise oncology practices during 2013, returning in Melbourne and setting up Moving Beyond Cancer in 2014.

Dale has been asked to use her extensive knowledge and experience to develop a variety of programs with some prominent organisations, such as The Cancer Council and helping set up their survivourship program; The Alfred Hospital, on their cancer related fatigue program; The Olivia Newton John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre on their Wellness program and many other support services Victoria wide. She is regularly invited to write articles and present on the benefits of exercise as a medicine for cancer.

We are so excited to welcome Lauren to the Moving Beyond Cancer team. Lauren did a clincial placement with us some years ago and we found her to be such an excellent practitioner, we invited her back!

Lauren is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Over the past two years, Lauren has worked in private practice prescribing exercise for a wide range of conditions and has previous experience working in both public and private hospitals and spent time with Moving Beyond Cancer.  Lauren is an outstanding Exercise Physiologist who is passionate about providing treatment that is client-centred and improves the quality of life of the individual. 

When away from work, Lauren keeps active through running and rock climbing and spends her downtime with family and close friends.
